LA MANUAL. Minimal packaging design proposal for the espadrille making 'La Manual Alpargatera' to revalue the product
Rebranding LA MANUAL ALPARGATERA, an espadrille making business from 1940 based in Barcelona. Inspired by Grace Kelly’s elegance wearing a working society shoe such as a fisherman, we want to give an added value to the item by creating a packaging that makes it look more refined.
We provide an organic cotton bag that includes a closing system with two straps, a long cotton one to hang in your shoulder and a short plat made the same way as the ones used in the traditional espadrilles soils. We also want to represent the Mediterranean sea and the fisherman in a poetical way by dipping the bag base in indigo colour.
